Miller Theatre at Columbia University produces about 40-45 concerts per season and is widely renowned for its contemporary music series, Composer Portraits. Each year the theatre commissions photography of the composers featured to be used in marketing materials (marquee posters, brochures and website).
Since many of the composers for the 2019-20 anniversary season are not in the New York City–area, I was hired to select photographers internationally in order to ensure a consistent style and cohesive aesthetic across all of the portrait shoots, to strengthen the original brief and to produce and direct the photographers.
